Category:Follys

From Wightpedia

Follys are ornamental features built in large gardens and parks in the Isle of Wight to add a feature of interest to a view.

A true folly should have no practical purpose although some on the island were building which could be used whilst enjoying the grounds - as with Appley Tower and Swainston's Greek Temple.
