Fountain Coaches

From Wightpedia

Fountain Coaches was formed after the First World War and operated out of a garage in Terminus Road, Cowes - on the site of the Co-Op/M&S (2018).

In 1968 they were acquired by the state-owned Transport Holding Company. With the formation of the National Bus company in 1967, they became part of Southern Vectis Omnibus Company (SVOC).

SVOC continued to use the Fountain Coaches name until the early years of the 21st century.
