• Register for an account without providing an email address or real name.
• Registering an account gives you the ability to edit current content. After having contributed at least five edits AND been registered for at least five days, further facilities will be availabe, namely the ability to upload images and create new Wightpedia pages.

• Using reasonable measures to keep your information secure.
• Never selling your information or sharing it with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Retaining your data for the shortest possible time that is consistent with maintaining, understanding, and improving the site, and our obligations under UK law.

• Any content you add or any change that you make to the Wightpedia Site will be publicly and permanently available.
• Our community of contributors is a self-policing body. Certain administrators of Wightpedia use tools that grant them limited access to nonpublic information about recent contributions so they may protect the Wightpedia Site and enforce policies.
