Gunville Methodist Chapel

The present Methodist Chapel at Gunville was built in 1906/7 as a Bible Christian Chapel, from a foundation stone, the architect was S. E. Tomkins of Newport, and the builders were T and E. W. Jenkins of Newport.
The Methodist Sunday School (today the Carisbrooke & Gunville Methodist Church Hall), to the south of the chapel, dates from 1848, it is shown on the 1898 OS map as 'Bethel Chapel (Bible Christian).'
