Gunville Brick Works - 1906
The 1904 Kelly's street directory records William Pritchett, brick, tile and pipe manufacturer at Gunville.
In the 1920's the brick works was acquired by Sam Saunders, (of Saunders-Roe) and expanded the works by forming the Isle of Wight Handcraft Pottery.
After the works closed, the flooded clay pit was used for fishing.
Today, (2021) the site was been developed as housing.
