Originally a Bible Christian 'Iron Church' dating from 1882 on Bowcombe Road, Carisbrooke.

The brick built United Methodist Chapel was built in 1908[1]; the architect was Mr. S. E. Tomkins, of Newport, and the contractor was Mr. T. Westbrook, of Cowes[2].

The church closed in 2019 and is now (2023) a private residence.
