The McNamara Almshouses, tucked away on the north side of Market Hill, Cowes, Isle of Wight were founded by the Rev. Thomas Binstead Macnamara in 1910 for the accommodation of twelve poor women.

2020 they are administered by the Market Hill Almshouses charity - 'Almshouses for poor and aged widows or unmarried women over 60 years of age or aged married couples of reputable life, inhabitants of West Cowes or of the ancient parish of Northwood preference to be given to members of the Church of England.'
