Surprise Bus Service

Barton Henry Bullock operated the Surprise Bus Service from his Temperance Hotel, the Holmdale, on Main Road, Havenstreet.

It operated between Ryde-Binstead-Havenstreet-Newport from 1926 to 1929 when the licence, and vehicles, were sold to the Vectis Bus Company.
