Drinking Fountain on Prince's Green, Cowes

The drinking fountain on Prince's Green at Cowes dates from about 1890 and was donated to the people of Cowes by George Robert Stephenson.

During the winter months, the fountain is hidden by a wooden 'case' which protects it from the nearby sea.
